When is a World Record holder allowed to be arrogant!?

The person knows that they are the best and nobody else is as good as they are..

but if they hold the wolrd record and then tell everyone that they did it? is that confidence or arrogance?|||Arrogant..never . Proud..Always. Being the best at anything is fleeting ,at best. There will always be some one coming up that will take your place, then all you will have left is how you will be remembered%26gt; arrogant bas----, or an up-front caring person who is deserving of our adulation. Your choice.|||Any time they damn well please.|||A person's accomplishments should speak for themselves. Arrogance is arrogance under any circumstances.|||(at least to me) it seems like the only reason people try to break world records is to be noticed. so why not tell everyone?|||rightful pride

what's wrong with a father showing off pictures of his baby? What's wrong with someone showing off thier new car? what's wrong with a woman who mentions her high position in passing?

nothing really, a world record holder has something of his own, he or she should be able to toot thier own horn once in a while.|||usually the person who holds that record merits it because they worked hard for their status...however rubbing it in someoen's face would be arrogant

Hope this helped

and if you get the change place leave comments or sign my guestmap...thanx :)

http://www.RealityIsAutomatic.com|||Never.|||If the person is the best and no one can beat them and they hold the record then they KNOW they;re the best so why would they need to tell everyone?

to me that would be insecurity - not arrogance. If they felt the need to tell other people they obviously aren't secure in themselves.|||For as long as they hold the record!|||arrogance it is probably a ridiculous record anyway like paperclip weightlifting|||There is never an excuse for arrogance. In fact, arrogance is the best (and quickest) way to lose friends and respect.
