Who is the world record holder for maximum run in an over in any form of cricket?

Well in first class cricket Sir Garry Sobers of West Indies and Ravi Shastri of India are on top of the list by hitting 6 sixers in a over. In test matches New Zealander Craig Mcmilan scored 26 runs against Pakistan and the unfortunate bowler was Younis Khan and in ODI's the record is held by the butcher Jayasuriya who scored 28 against New Zealand in Sharjah.|||i think its ravi shastri from india ( now a days he is commentator on TEN Sports )

i heard he hit 6 sixes agaisnt west indies in test match in one over.|||ravi shastri and garry sobers.hitting six sixes in an over...sobers did in 1958...shastri in1985............while in list A matches...this record is 34 runs...held by ganguly and viv richards both.but these recorde are from a 6 ball over....otherwise most runs in an over are 77..whihc included many no balls...it wash a match between canterbury and wellington where wellinton concded those runs delibrately|||ravi shatri and gari sobers made the world record. both hit 6 sixes in one over. but both were playing in first class cricket. i think sir gari was playing county cricket. and ravi was playing in Indian domestic cricket.|||Ravi Shastri, he smashed 6 sixes in an over to claim this record
